Try and pull someone's leg,
After you've had a peg,
It will be some fun,
He will be on the run,
Possibly with a nun,
The two of them can share a bun,
So have fun,
Pull someone's leg,
And see if they take the bait,
You won't have long to wait,
I had an aunt named Kate,
She had a huge coffee estate,
It was quite a place,
She had a lovely face.

Is Saturday,
Uncle Mac is feeling happy,
His dog Rover is a bit yappy,
He is a friendly dog,
Once he got lost in a fog,
Uncle Mac found Rover after a search,
He had taken shelter in a church,
Today is a good day,
Uncle Mac will take time out to pray,
And also to play,
He will do so anyway.

Is Friday,

Though he suffers from the gout,
In the morning he caught some trout,
Uncle Frank is a bit stout,
He is a happy fellow,
With age he has become mellow,
Next week he is going out,
He is going out for a bout,
Just a friendly round,
Uncle Mac is not likely to run aground.

Or you may come face to face with an elephant,
You will have to run for cover,
Or scoot beneath the clover,
And remain there till its over,
With your lover,
There is plenty of sights to see,
By the time each day is over you will be full of glee,

Don't try to fly to high or go too far,
And waste the years in reaching for a star,
Find a path that's straight, direct and plain,
And don't go searching down each twisty lane,
Concentrate upon essential things and cut out all the futile questioning,
Don't cram too much into a day,
And leave no time for idling by the way,
Learn to look at life with quiet eyes,
Seeing God in trees and flowers and skies.

I'm still on the same topic,
I live in the Tropics,
I've yet to make some friends,
Hope someone takes a fancy to what I write,
It's still daylight,
Everything is watertight,
Uncle Mac is about to alight,
He has to go out now,
To buy some fresh cream,
It tastes like a dream,
His daughter is about to scream,
His neice is by his side,
She wants to go for a ride,
Soon it will be eventide.

Making Friends

Hi my friends,
I'm aware of the trends,
I'm dear uncle Mac,
There is nothing that I lack,
I know how to unpack,
I wake up at the break of dawn,
And after a short break go out and mow my lawn,
Then I go fishing for prawn,
Cook it up and have it with corn,
This has been my staple diet from 12 years on,
Now I would like to make a few friends,
Irrespective of their hues and blends,
Uncle Mac is the kind of guy who always makes amends,
So who would be my first friend,
Uncle Mac knows how to fend,
And even bar tend.
